2 months already

So it is true... that if you blink your baby will be two months already. It is amazing how the days go by as a blur. First I am awaken by Ellie, she needs to eat. Then sometime she decides to fall back asleep. I go about my day with Big Sister Hadley. Usually though Ellie is up too. She is content in the morning. She will let me hop in the shower as she sits in her little chair in the bathroom. Hadley is busy in the her bedroom playing with her babies, making us coffee, or she might read Ellie a book.

After I get my must needed shower, we all head downstairs. Ellie likes to be snuggled. She loves to be wrapped in her blankets and wants to be cozy warm. Sometimes I attribute this to her stay at Children's, while we were there she had warming lights on her. She also loves to sleep on her side, I know this isn't the proper way for her to sleep but it is what she likes. She usually sleeps on both her side and her back, kinda half way in between. Again probably because of her hospital stay, the nurses put her on her side a lot. You eat about every three hours and you are starting to coo and smile especially when we talk to you.

Ellie had her two month check up May 25th. She weighed 10 lbs 12 oz. She is gaining weight just as she should. She is 21.5" in length. We had to get her blood pressure checked since she was able to get off her blood pressure meds. She was 90 over 50 and that was in her left leg.
That was the same pressure reading as 10 days before when she had her big cardiologist visit at Children's Heart Clinic. Monday, May 16th we took Ellie in for a EKG, Echo, Xray and all the other things. Everything looked great. Her repair was just how they wanted to see it. She was a good little trooper for all her tests. She screamed for the Xray but she always did that every morning when we were in the hospital. After we were done we picked up Auntie Michelle and went to eat some pizza.

Currently Ellie has thrush, it is a yeast infection on her tongue. Not a huge deal but now we are giving her medicine again. This medicine is four times a day for seven days. Ugh!

To our dearest two month old -- Ellie, you are everything to your Daddy and I. We absolutely love you with all of our heart. You complete our family and make us smile everyday. We couldn't imagine our world without you in it and we know you are the strongest little girl ever.

Well... I am off to go look at some other peoples junk with Shanessa. Ok, well garage sales. I am not a huge fan of them but sometime you can find a couple things you need.
