| Just horsing around! |
Today I was blessed with waking up to two adorable faces at 7:30. They were intent on me giving them cherry tattoos. Hadley brought me them as well as a wet rag. Next we went down stairs, I set them up with their blankets and Nick Jr. Then we grabbed some bowls, spoons, cereal and milk and enjoyed a simple breakfast. I had a cup of coffee. Hadley cut her own banana and added it to her cereal. Both the girls finished their cereal and off they went playing. Hadley turned into Cinderella and Ellie came up to me and said, "mom poop." We then went upstairs and Hadley changed into an adorable outfit which consisted of skinny jeans and a pink shirt. She dressed herself. I changed Ellie, we giggled as we shimmied her pants on and she picked out her shirt of the day. Then Ellie and Hadley helped clean their room a bit, next we had to deal with a Ellie attack on Hadley. Ellie likes to bite when she is provoked or pushed over the edge. I gave her a time out and told her she could get up when she was ready to hug Hadley and say sorry. She got up but didn't do either those, I even asked her too, she didn't... so back to time out she went. After a minute she got up again and I asked her to do both of those and she did.
Nothing too spectacular but I love these simple mornings!
