Well not quite, but Hadley did pee on her froggie potty yesterday. She likes to pretend to go potty. So she knows how to take off her pants and her diaper and sit down on her potty. She even pretend wipes. Then I go in and put her back together. But, yesterday when I went into the bathroom to get her dressed yet again. I looked in the potty and there was pee in there and a little paper. I took a second look and then I asked her, "Did you go potty?" And, she said, "Yes!" I couldn't believe it, I just gave her a high five and said yeah! We have a book we read about potty, it is called potty... and when the little boy goes, the book reads, "Tinkle, Tinkle, Toot! So again I referred to the potty and asked Hadley if she tinkled and she repeated that line back to me. It was so cute. I was shocked. She has never peed in the potty. This was the first time. So after I asked her if she wanted to wear big girl undies, since that is what happens in the book. And, she said yes. So we put on some undies and gave it a little shot. I am really thinking she is ready to go straight into the pull-ups. I know once we go into those the trick is to make it a big deal and never go back to diapers. I think that makes sense and now I really do need to buy some pull-ups. But, for now at least we finally conquered the first time peeing in the potty, and it was all on her own!

A night of play
Not really after bath...
Hadley and Nevaeh love playing together. They love being silly and they love laughing! Hadley loves Nevaeh. Every night when we do bedtime. We pray by saying, "Now I lay me down to sleep..." and then we always say "God Bless..."and we enter names of our family and friends. Hadley always says, Ve Ve. They are so cute together!

Shopping and more
So we are trying to get the last few things we need for the baby. Plus, just house stuff in general. I just finished making a belly book of all my belly pictures using Shutterfly. I also took advantage of the free five cards for St. Patty's day. I love Shutterfly.
Hadley Update!
Hadley is talking more and more. She can sing songs too. The other day she really started to pick up on the ABC song. She also counts to 11 and then starts over at 8. Too cute. We have been going to school on Thursday mornings. She likes to explore with the new toys there. She enjoys the themes they have and likes snack time. She loves to snack but is getting super picky with her snacks. She knows she wants something but when you offer her an orange, she says no, when you offer her a bowl of ice cream she says yes. So we try to keep her contained with the fruit, crackers, raisins and so on. But, sometimes she gets ice cream. If I just peel an orange and put it out for her she will usually eat it. She also won't just eat crackers, she has to have cheese and meat to put on her crackers.
Potty training is up our alley as we have seen some of the readiness signs. But, we will wait to approach this until after baby is born and we are all adjusted. She tells me when she has pooped and she knows when she has a really wet diaper. She sometimes will have a dry diaper even after having it on for hours. We have all the equipment needed, potty chair, potty seat for on top the toilet, underwear, thicker underwear. We do need to purchase some pull-ups still and a mattress cover. So we will hope for a warm spring so we can get her in dresses and pull-ups and start our adventure into potty training. They say it takes 8 months before they are officially considered trained and they also say to wait until the child is ready. The only thing that is concerning to me is that Hadley has not peed in the potty ever!
Baby Update!
I am 35.5 weeks along. I am feeling good but anxious to meet this little being. I know it is easier with her/him on the inside so I need to take advantage of all the time I have left. We officially have under 4 weeks left as we think we will be induced sometime between March 15th-18th. I had a doctor appointment yesterday, I measure about a week small so I had an ultrasound. The baby weighs 5.8 oz and that is +/- 13 oz. So who knows for sure. But, the measurements are within range which is great. The heartbeat yesterday was 140-150. The last three Friday's it has been in the 120's. My NST's are going good too. Yesterday was by far the fasted one. I was in and out of the hospital and in and out of the clinic. I have a appointment with my new doctor, Dr. Leland this coming Tuesday, Feb. 22nd. I will be going to Brainerd. My Mom and Hadley are going to come along. We might do some shopping after.
We still are set on the names so Liam or Ellie will be here soon. 3.5 weeks or so!

Happy 26 Months!
Hadley this morning with her mandarin oranges. She loves these!
Of course she wants to watch Dora. She loves Dora. She will sit and watch a whole show - which for Hadley is a long time to sit still. She is a very busy girl. She loves to explore. She also loves her babies. She likes to put them to sleep and she like to wrap them in blankets. She still has her ducky blanket. This is her favorite blanket and she has to sleep with it every night. Currently we are in a snack drought. She doesn't want anything we give her. She will always take candy and fruit snacks. She loves ice cream too. She is pretty good about not wanting juice and will drink milk or water. She understands that she will be a big sister soon. She says we are have a girl and her name will be Annie!
Sliding & Baby
We brought Hadley to the farm last Sunday since it was really nice outside.
Robert wanted to take her for a sled ride but she wasn't into it. So we just walked to the hill and watched Daddy try to go down. That didn't work very well. The snow was to loose. So we hung out for a bit and relaxed outside. Hadley wasn't a fan of the snow. She didn't want to sit on it. She likes to be outside but doesn't like the snow. I think because it is deep and hard for her to walk.Baby update: I have had to non stress tests and both were great. I am scheduled for them weekly because of a test that happened at 20 weeks. Needless to say, I am a victim of technology. The test never should have happened but since it did and it reflected SD numbers slightly high, here we are covering the can of worms that has been opened. However, I get to sit at the hospital weekly and hear the babies heartbeat. It is reassuring that everything is going as it should. This little guy really moves and kicks. That is probably the biggest difference from my pregnancy with Hadley. So only 5 weeks and we will see what that means. Maybe we have a little boy in there who will be a future soccer player or we have a little busy gal in there. Hard to believe we could have a little girl who is busier then Hadley.
